Jorge Cirino
Born: march 5, 1943 at Montevideo, Uruguay.
He
starts studying music at age of 5, piano and musical
reading with his father, Pablo Cirino.
At age of 9 continues his studying of piano and harmony with professor Ms. Julieta Bizzosero. He develops absolute ear in a short time.
At
age of 15 años he studies instrumentation with professor Piero Gualco.
At age of 18 años he gets further in the fields of Harmony and Instrumentation with renamed professor Mr. Guido Santórsola.
His deep study of classical music allows him to perform, compose and make improvisation on a variety of styles, including the popular Tango, Jazz, Fusion, Bossa Nova, Candombe and others.
At age of 16 he starts his first band. Since then, he has been taking part in several bands, including the locally well known Trio Cirino-Lamas-Burgueño".
He makes arrangements of musical scores for Symphonic Orchestras and conducts advanced Master Classes on keyboards, piano and other instruments.
